Rebuild Update #9, 2/28/2022
Our first road trip, this weekend
I have finished another batch of fresh pottery, about 200 pieces. I have shipped about 25% of it, filling preorders. Now there is too much to store effectively, and to still be able to make more. So, we are packing up these newest pieces, plus everything I have made since December 2021, and some great stuff we rescued on evacuation day last August (see slideshows below).
For our first road trip in over a year, we will bring our great selection to the Santa Rosa Original Farmers' Market at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts this Saturday, July 30. Then to the Sebastopol Farmers' Market this Sunday, July 31.
Saturday morning I will shut down my online store, and bring everything to market. I will reload the online store after we get back.
As usual, all pre-existing customers will get 20% off the marked prices. If somehow I dont recognize you this weekend, please remind me.
Progress on the new workshop
We have made a string-line for the foundation, and begun digging footings. There is a video below of felling a couple of burned trees and stump pulling, set to a great latin beat. We hope to begin pouring the concrete slab in the next couple of months, and through this winter.
