It is 6:33 am Saturday morning, September 9. I am parked at the Castro Valley Farmers' Market, waiting for the sun to come up and for the management to arrive. Please see the slideshow below, "Kiln load #2 of 3", for photos of yestersay's fresh pottery, which I have with me for Castro Valley and Temescal today and tomorrow.
From last week: We have fired the first of three kilnloads for Castro Valley and Temescal next weekend, September 9 & 10. See below for a slideshow of the highlights. This will be our first visit to Castro Valley since the Covid-19 lockdown. We have ironed out a great many bugs from our small temporary kiln and workshop since Caldor in 2021, and developed several new glaze effects.
I will be adding more photos of finished work to this page with each kiln load over the next 7 days. For times and directions, please click here for my market schedule.
